Some pretty small text on the Deck's built-in screen at default resolution
Audio didn't work until running the Protontricks commands. Still had some crackling after audio started working, but nothing game-breaking
Lock to 30FPS, limit to TDP to 6W
For some reason this game really hits the CPU hard. I found that limiting the TDP to something really low like 4 or 6W kept the fan and temps in check without impacting performance at all. Played start to finish on the Deck and no issues.
Lowered resolution to 960x540 and enabled FSR.
The game is pretty power hungry, even at half resolution with FSR on. Draws about 20W in-game, so you'd probably only get 2 hours and change on a full battery.
