Out of the box ohne Anpassungen direkt spielbar. Danke Valve und Proton! :)
Using redmcg 3.16-7_Beta_ED (see here: https://github.com/redmcg/wine/wiki) it works fine incl. Horizons. After setting up redmcg my ED-installtion didn't started. After de- and re-installing the hole game it worked.
cd "${STEAM_COMPAT_INSTALL_PATH}/launcher"; %command%
The launch options have been identified in the github to the game: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/1658#issuecomment-1046887271 With this it now runs flawlessly.
Die Startoptionen wurden im Github zu dem Spiel ermittelt: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/1658#issuecomment-1046887271 Damit läuft es jetzt einwandfrei.

Since 12.01. GTA V can no longer be started in online mode. There is, however, a workaround with which you can return to online mode:
Start the game, use a task manager to find the PID of GTAV.exe, and use this command: sudo strace -p ##### Where ### is the PID. Once you get online just ctrl + C or close the terminal
Mit Proton 7.04, Experimental oder GE 7.37 gibt es "Fatal Errors" an manchen Episoden-Enden. Mit 6.3-8 konnte ich ohne Probleme spielen.
Zwischendurch an Stelle einer Cut Scene ein Testbild
Everything nice with Padoka stable PPA. Added MESA_GL_VERSION_OVERRIDE=4.5COMPAT MESA_GLSL_VERSION_OVERRIDE=450 PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command% to the Launch-Options. Previously I tested Padoka unstable (experimental) PPA (MESA 19.x) with LLVM9. The game started and was playable. But I had terrible graphical artifacts. Switiching back to stable Padoka PPA (Mesa 18.3.3) and LLVM7 it's runing like a charm.
In order to be able to start the game, the value in the game settings for "TerrainTesselation" must be set to "Low".
The setting must be made in the file TKGRAPHICSSETTINGS.MXML. This is located in the folder ~/steam/steamapps/common/No Man's Sky/Binaries/SETTINGS/.
If you open the file with an editor you will find the following line:
The next line after that is:
In this line replace the "High" with a "Low". After that I could at least load my existing save games again. Before I had a crash to desktop after loading the game in the moment where the game starts.
Instead of set the Tesselation-Details to "Low" in the local settings i purged the Padoka PPA and installed the ACO-Mesa-Driver from Valve. With this the game runs like a charme. With "High" even in Tesselation. https://steamcommunity.com/app/221410/discussions/0/1640915206474070669/
Runs out of the box without any issues or flaws. Insane excellent! :)
Out of the box without any problems. Could play at 2880x1620 and all graphics settings on high stable with 60fps. Without stutters.
Installation without problems. But as soon as you start the game you fly with a game error - code G201 from the server. This is due to the anti cheat software BattleEye. As long as there is no proton support the game will probably not be playable.
R*star Launcher starting. But the game not launches. Error: "Unable to launch game, please verify your game data."
There is a bug in the RDR2.exe and, additional, the Launcher-bug already known from the GTA V-Launcher. See Proton-Github: -> https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/3291 -> https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/3291#issuecomment-562993403
Runs with Proton 5.13 out of the box. At 1st start the Vulkan shaders were downloaded once. After that it started without problems.
Only the multiplayer does not work. It always comes the message that the connection was interrupted because of an error (0x20010006).
With Proton experimental the game runs out of the box in single- and multiplayer!
Without any launch options or workarounds the game starts up to main menu from where I could also start and play the online mode (Free Roam) without any further action. Was just for 20 minutes in online mode. The single player was also running so far. But the online mode never started in the past and always gave me an error "(0x20010006)".
