The game starts fine, but the main interface for the whole game is meant to be a 3D globe of the earth which you can pan around to travel between cities. On my laptop it is rendered incorrectly as a bright yellow transparent sphere (like a gaseous sun) with no surface features and with the text of the cities barely legible in white. While it's technically possible to play, this makes it annoyingly difficult to navigate and I don't find it comfortable enough to play through. The various text dialogs also have some minor graphical glitches. Disabling D3D11 or using Wine D3D11 had no effect. Disabling esync caused it get stuck on a black loading screen.
Changed resolution easily via menu (default 1920x1080, chose 1440x900 due to my iGPU). Solved 5 puzzles, reached a save point, sound works.
It works just fine on my integrated GPU (I set graphics quality to Low). On startup it displays the warning: "Warning: failed to detect GPU, running in sloooow software mode. Your video card driver may be out of date. More info and special instructions for Linux at: rebuildgame.com/help.php". Not sure why it's displaying a message related to Linux when it's a Windows-only Steam Play game. Either it used to be a Linux game or they've tested it with Steam Play and added a special message. But it works anyhow.
Works fine. The game starts in a small window by default and there's no in-game option to go full screen. I used the window's "maximise" button in my desktop environment which worked as expected.
