Works great, slight performance drop.
Less performance than Windows for sure, I wasn't consistently at 144fps+ (my monitor refresh rate) when playing on a map whereas I am on Windows when playing on the same map.
Not too annoying though as most of the time I was at 130fps so it was still very playable.
Like I stated, the game has a slight performance drop as opposed to Windows, however, it isn't so bad. If you're someone that really needs the frames, just lower the quality settings a bit and you'll be a-okay!
Other than that, the game works great!
Works great, raytracing is a no-go.
Raytracing dropped FPS from 160 to 40. It's not really "unplayable" on my hardware, but for a racing game it's not ideal at all. Turning the quality down from Very High to High made the game run at 160+ FPS.
Tried Time trial and Breaking point, everything seems to work very well. I used a Logitech G920 whilst playing and was amazed that everything was plug and play, beautiful experience (apart from Logitech GHub not being on Linux so wheel calibration was slightly off).
The major issue is just raytracing, turn it off and the game runs brilliantly.
Trying to launch the game whilst the Steam Deck is plugged into a deck causes the game to not recognise any other input other than the Steam Deck itself. You HAVE to boot the game without the Steam Deck plugged in, then you can plug it in. This does mean you'll get black bars on the side if your monitor is bigger than the Steam Deck resolution but it's still perfectly playable.
Works perfectly (even had less issues compared to my friends on Windows)!
Works perfectly!
The game runs exactly the same on Linux like it did on Windows when I first played it.
Runs very well!
I don't get the same FPS as I do on windows but it just means I have to turn a couple things down from Legendary to Rare. Granted, if you were a-okay with 60fps (on my hardware) then all legendary is perfect, but it didn't look nice with my monitor (144hz) so I tweaked my graphics settings.
Only slightly annoying thing is accepting invites, if you don't have it appear in-game then you're pretty much f'ed
