Seems resource intensive and my laptop fans make big noise but that's unsual for a visual novel and it even runs ok on my surface 3 running Windows 10.
Proton never worked. Using protontricks dotnet35 and dotnet40 won't install. Only way out is running the windows version of steam using wine.

Launch game by steam using Proton GE, and the game should crash silently. then do
rm -r /PATH/TO/compatdata/1162650/pfx/

And install anything wine tries to install.

At startup, the game will pop up an error window saying the program cannot run. Just ignore the window and head to next black window, which is the damn game launcher. Just click on the right place should be fine to start the game in proper language.
The game runs well and the only trouble is dotnet48 which cannot be installed using protontricks.
