Amazing looking Xianxia style game.
Performance:
I initially had a lot of performance issues when trying to run this at 1440p. From what I understand this is normal and most likely not Proton related as the game does not seem to be the most optimized. I did try multiple versions of GE and experimental just in case but it made no difference. Overall medium settings at 1440p worked for a farily decent experience. I was able to play through both the main game and Dream like World DLC within out any major issues.
Minor issues:
I noticed that the cutscenes of the DLC did not play under GE 8-11. Switching to expermintal resolved this. The main game had no issues with cutscenes with steam default proton and GE verions.
Tip:
It starts off very easy but then some random difficulty spikes occur later on which can get very frustrating. There is even a point where all the regular enemies will get significantly harder. It will be easy to overlook as the game does not mention or guide you towards this but keep investing in better/best gear to even the playing field.

heavy stutters if launch options not enabled
Game runs really well on low-medium, the most that the game would eat up would be through post-processing (must be kept on low). Combat would always cause dips, jumping puzzles would be a little annoying due to response times. Can still be tried and played.
pretty laggy when go window mode
after opening menu in gameplay then the controller input as well as mouse is laggy

Infrequent crashes during cutscenes
cutscene doesn't play relatively close to the beginning of the game
After ~2hrs of playtime there is a cutscene that can't be played, it just stays black. Even trying to skip that cutscene doesn't work, it just crashes
Until cutscene can be fixed, avoid this game.
