Doesn't matter what version I'm using of proton, it will either quit outright on launching, or sit there and never do anything.

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 konsole -e %command%
You'll need to adjust this for your particular console, but 3 things are vital and it runs perfectly.
- make sure you're using proton 5.0-10
- pass the PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 option 3.have the game run from a terminal.
You can just run steam from a terminal as well, but obviously that's not ideal, so simply passing your terminals launch command followed by whatever it's execution command is after the D3D parameter will accomplish the same thing, and there's absolutely nothing I can find wrong with the game that wasn't already wrong in Windows.
