Works perfectly using Proton 9.0-3 as default. No difference to Windows at all
The game always crashed while joining a server. Moving the game from NTFS to ext4 partition, switching to GE-Proton9-13 and running Easy Anti Cheat install from Launch options fixed it. Firstly it crashed in the menu but never since then.
Otherwise it's absolutely perfect. Wouldn't know a difference
The game runs awfully in native. Switch to Proton Experimental to get on par performance with Windows
Playing the game on NTFS partition resulted in 6 minutes loadings on an NVMe. Mounting ntfs as ntfs-g3 cut the loadings in half but obviously having the game on ext4 or any other linux friendly storage format works best.
The game runs my CPU a tiny bit cooler but with more, yet a bit unstable FPS then on Windows. No significant FPS drops however.
--use-d3d11 -USEALLAVAILABLECORES PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 PROTON_ENABLE_NGX_UPDATER=1
Starting the game with Fullscreen results in black screen on Wayland. Workaround I use is to run the game in Windowed, then setting the window to fullscreen using a shortcut set in KDE settings.

Changing "allowhwcursor 1" to 0 in "Dawn of War Soulstorm/Drivers/spdx9_config.txt" to fix mouse flickering.

It crashed once someone dropped a nuke or something at me in 8v8 FreeForAll. Otherwise, played about 6 games of 2v2 with a friend against hard bots with no problem
After about 10 minutes we kept getting Sync Error. Fixed by changing Proton manually to Proton 3.7-8 and supposedly, to decrease the chance of crashing while using the said proton verison, use PROTON_FORCE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1 %command% Launch option
