Audio seems to be busted on Steam Deck. Tested with GE and Proton 8.
The actual game runs great, audio works as expected during gameplay, but during any cutscenes (such as those after levels) are completely broken. Audible crackling noise.
EtG used to run flawlessly aside from a few graphical problems here and there (such as in the shopkeepers room) but no longer works. Crashing on startup with native & proton.
Game was kind of all over the place before when using the default Proton version, frequently stuttering and struggling to hold 30 fps in some areas.
Switching to the latest version of Proton Hotfix solved all of the problems with this excellent game on Steam Deck! Plays like a dream now!
Keyboard doesn't work for chatting in Battle Hub
It works wonderfully on Steam Deck, I've been mainly playing hooked up to a monitor running the game at 1080p 60fps, no problems. Fightsticks work great, I'm playing with an 8bitdo Arcade Stick and it works great wired and wireless.
Fighting Grounds and Battle Hub both work great and the experience is similar (besides graphics settings being tuned down) to that of a full desktop PC. Haven't tested World Tour but that seems to run at around 30fps from what I've read.
A great experience on SD and Linux!
