I'm still only in the tutorial section but so far it has run flawlessly.
The game did not automatically detect my hardware specs, so as soon as it booted it set resolution to max, uncapped frame rate, and graphics settings on Ultra. Even then, the game started and ran. Once I lowered the resolution to 1080p and graphics down to High, my non-gaming laptop ran it smooth as butter.
It works perfectly and it is a great fit for the Steam Deck.
This game used to be very problematic on Linux when I first purchased it but it now runs smoothly and flawlessly. I tried it on the Steam Deck with all default settings and it just works.
I did not reach the end of the demo but other reviews here point to a crash once the animation at the end of the demo kicks on.
The game works flawlessly on a Steam Deck right out of the box.
Given that the game was also released on the Nintendo Switch, it obviously had no issues working on the Steam Deck and its built in controls.
Although the game works on the Steam Deck it has no controller support. You are using the stick, track pads, and buttons as surragates for a mouse.
Other than the pictures inside the tutorial windows, eveything else seems to work flawlessly.
