works out of the box with proton
There seems to be a linux version but that did not work for me at all. With proton everything was fine.
Honestly, if you can get past installing proton, which is easy on its own nowadays, than it runs as would on windows
Launch hangs when using proton7.0.5 instead of ge otherwise game runs well
Running the game oobe with proton7.0.5 didnt work at all so some tweaks are needed but i have had zero problem with protonge7-43 although your milage may very as some people have had no problem even out of box
This game used to be very problematic on Linux when I first purchased it but it now runs smoothly and flawlessly. I tried it on the Steam Deck with all default settings and it just works.
I had to go into the games properties and check "Force use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool". After that, the game runs perfectly. Without checking that option the game doesn't even use Proton and tries to launch a native version of the game instead.
