Added Uplay Connect to steam to install (using GE-Proton7-37) then launched Uplay Connect from Steam (using GE-Proton7-37). Everything ran fine after launching the game from Uplay Connect.
Can also add the ACValhalla.exe binary directly to Steam, add Launch Options STEAM_COMPAT_DATA_PATH="/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/{UPLAY COMPAT NUMBER}" %command%

Locked fps to 30 and set TDP to around 11 watts
Resuming from sleep crashed the game. Had to force close the game to fix it. Updating steam deck to the preview release channel fixed it and now sleep and resume works flawlessly.
Modified community layout for controls. In the beginning simply emulated mouse and used Steam + x button to bring up keyboard and type in profile name.
Inverted horizontal axis on right joystick and reduced sensitivity

This report is for the DLC Separate Ways. Not the base Resident Evil 4 game. The DLC is unplayable because it frequently crashes.
