Experimental, Stable, and GE all launch, but silently quit after ~5 minutes ingame. Tkg bleeding wouldn't get past the main menu.
Alt-tabbing freezes the game.
Small stutters, usually not in gameplay.
Tried with and without gamemode, was unable to play for more than 5 minutes or so without the game closing. Most of the old performance issues have been solved with newer kernels.

gamemoderun for general performance improvements
Disabled vsync in config (iPresentInterval in Fallout4.ini and Fallout4Prefs.ini) to fix sluggish mouse. Instead, use DXVK frame limit
Used protontricks to install xact_x64 for the DLL override, fixed script lag and audio not playing
I'm on Fedora, so I used PIPEWIRE_LATENCY for further audio fixes
Working with F4SE and several mods through Vortex (some further config needed for that)

Occasional CPU bound stuttering which disrupted rhythm.
During Steam Remote Play Together, the local controller was not detected by Steam until after multiple people had joined despite being able to use the controller in menus. May be an issue with RPT more generally.

Game ran with no issues on Experimental for ~4h of co-op through Downpour DLC with workshop mods installed as well.
