if it runs its immense fun. really wish it had more solid foundations. for a forever early access game and alpha status - its fun if it runs
unity crashes sometimes unbearably frequent and unplayable. then it seems to calm down and i can play for hours. i wonder if something does not sync up right sometimes. this game is so awesome makes me wish it was never designed with windows in mind, but just as the awesome game it is.
if it runs it runs - if it crashes it crashes frequently. does it not integrate with steam well i wonder.
i wish i could recommend it. native linux is not really stable and with proton it crashes so much in multiplayer. could it be that it relies too much on dx11? i can just guess what causes problems. makes one wish it was made with vulkan at its core from the start.
if it would not crash everytime would be an amazing game.

no other launcher needed, installed and ran normally.
runs nicer then on windows, without tinkering or changing any launch options. the first time i downloaded it cancelled for unknown reason, but i just repeated and it ran as smooth as it can be. great game no hassle experience for me, pure joy. a third party launcher would still be against the tos of the game btw, and aside that all plugins for the game are against the terms also some of them are plain cheats.
no crashes no problems - just enjoyment of pure unadultered fps gaming fun smiling ear to ear till the end credits.

crashed a few times probably due to missing frame rate limit. seems to go smooth since i added launch options.
