Game work pretty well around -20 fps compared to windows on ultra settings
There are memory leaks after playing for 1 hours sometime
At the start the launcher will alway migrate data even if it was already migrated
For the one that have problem with textures on map go to this github: https://github.com/SnoutBug/BeamNG_terrainMaterialCache
Depends a lot on the hardware but if you have a discrete gpu and a good cpu you should be good to go
__NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia gamemoderun DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command% -dxvk
Proton Experimental fixed the missing textures
That's a problem with latency and wine needing to process the soft body physics
This game need a lot of ram and a powerful cpu on Linux to have a stable experience
Ram leak sometimes (Uncommon)
Don't forget Proton Experimental and Gamemoderun and using your dGpu (Also try to save up on ram by closing unnecessary process)
gamemoderun %command%
Really nice game work out of the box Proton and Native work well
Game is slower than Windows due to the Vulkan implementation in Source 2 being slower than DirectX.
kscreen-doctor output.DP-2.mode.1280x960@144; gamemoderun %command% -nojoy -novid -vulkan -threads 16 -language tm; kscreen-doctor output.DP-2.mode.1920x1080@144
The following is needed for launching CS2 on Gnome Wayland (at least for me)
kscreen-doctor output.DP-2.mode.1280x960@144; %command% kscreen-doctor output.DP-2.mode.1920x1080@144
Vulkan implementation is slower than DirectX.
Game works fine but it starting a blank window without the custom arguments is infuriating.
Keep in mind this is not esports ready and competitive players will not have a good time playing on Linux at the moment.
make sure to use gamemoderun
with -threads 16
(I have 16 threads in my cpu change that value to your threads count) to increase your fps and latency
-nojoy
and -novid
are optional and just disable controller input and intro video
Native Get me a Black screen and crash
and Proton makes the game say that it can't find steam
bruh i can't play
Works like a charm
i don't really know why but when i moved using my mouse it moved weirdly easier with keyboard
Have fun :)
The game wasn't very good but it worked also it's pretty old
If you want a sim racing you have one right here but it's really old and not really enjoyable
Works like on windows
Resolution is really low but i think it's normal
I have an azerty keyboard so it was not very fun playing like that
Just launch it with proton also just to say this there is no real configuration menu
So EAC completely borked the game in multiplayer
Local Play work however and i don't if it's only me but loud noise can be heard when there are too much explosion at the same moment
Game work well EAC breaks multiplayer for now
When there are multiple explosion at the same time loud noise begin to breaks your ears for 20 seconds
Sometime when coming back to the window it was unresponsible
Sometime it does not save your settings
Drops of fps sometime
EAC borked the multiplayer
For now it's broken
For now you can only play on anticheat disabled server apparently (didn't try)
So now after the last mini patch i can't even run the game nice...
If someone is able to bypass the lock i'm willing to do anything i owned this game for too long and can't get a refund. Stupid new world interactives
Proton-7.0rc6-GE-1
Loud noise when the game start and also loud noise when there are a lot of explosion at once
Sometime the window won't take the mouse correctly and you to Alt-Tab to another app and click on insurgency again
lag a little but probably vsync
slight stutter
Kick you out of any multiplayer game after a little amount of time
Kicks you out after some times in game
Use Proton GE it has better performance
Works out of the box
Had a blast playing this and even more with a friend
Works out of the box nothing to do
Lags a lot sometimes but really randomly
Some freeze 2 times
Also i'm a noob can't remember keyboard input
No server whatsoever
When i finally joined a server the camera began doing weird things the game was really broken
