PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Turn off the visual effects from the main menu
The game would stutter if I played with the visual effects turned on (same thing happens on windows too)
The game wouldnt launch without PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 idk why thats the case cuz my gpu does support vulkan
Disable Visual Effects at the main menu for normal performance
dont run without the visual effects disabled
I shit my pants but thats it!
Game works just fine, no problems here!
This game runs like molasses on deck. Plus considering the game requires about half the keyboard, you're better off just sticking to windows
Game drops to about 15fps during gameplay.
The game runs poorly during gameplay.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Without disabling Visual Effects at the main menu, you'll get 30fps.
Make sure to disable visual effects on the main menu, or else the game will be locked at a low frame rate.
Dosent start
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
I can install, but when i start game from steam i get nothing, when i use my wine on direct file, i see just a black screen.
gold-platinium
the game locks at 15 fps in-game if I don't disable "visiual effects" on the main menu.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
stable 6 fps
Fully playable as long as you disable "Visual Effects" option and prepare for the occasional crash.
Occasional audio crackles. Very rare.
Without disabling visual effects, the game is utterly unplayable.
Crashes pretty frequently. But considering the type of game, it's actually not a huge problem. It launches pretty much instantly.
Some text has a few stray pixels. Still very readable. Turn off visual effects and you will be fine.
Slowness only with visual effects on. Just turn them off.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Unsure why this is unsupported on Steam, works perfectly.
Mapped all buttons to the different key commands shown at the start of the game. Used D-pad for door controls (left/right doors, up for front vent and down for side vent). Triggers and grip buttons control the number keys + monitor. Face buttons control flashlight/closing popups etc.
Settings are very small
With a little bit of editing to the controls (I've created a custom layout which I will upload to the community tab) the game is 100% playable.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Realy nice game, runs well on Ubuntu 22.04 Base (Pop!_OS)
I heavily recommend mouse and keyboard
No problems at all.
Works fine, make sure you compile the Vulkan Shaders, or the game will freeze a lot when playing a night.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Game didn't ran without doing the launch option thing- I had to disable visual effects in the game because it was laggy but when I used windows before,, the game was also laggy with visual effects on so I guess its sorta my hardwares fault- But the game ran flawlessly with no stutters when I turned visuals off
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
On an ntfs filesystem the game just doesn't launch at all, I had to move it on an ext4 filesystem and add the "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%" in the launch options to make it work
Disable ingame effects to fix the terrible performance issues. Disabling esync my help too
Disabling esync might improve performance, but I'm not sure
Terrible performance and high chance of crashing
Solution: disable visual effects, an option available inside the game
Crashes with Vulkan if you don't disable ingame effects
it is impossible to play this in 20 fps
20 fps on proton 3.7-8 it does not run on 6.3-8
It runs great without Visual Effects enabled, would play.
It would crash when Visual Effects were turned on, and lag horribly.
Runs horribly without Visual Effects disabled.
7.0rc6-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
I used GloriousEggroll
Mostly got 30 fps and below using no launch commands and around 15 and below with the command.
If you go to the duct cam, the game crashes
I tried most proton versions being the 7.0 GE version, 6.3-8, and proton experimental (also with bleeding edge version too) and got the same results
Put this command in the launch options to fix any crashing or low fps
Will not launch at all.
Proton-7.0rc3-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
Game ran well but not as good as it should with my card
Too laggy and unstable to be played.
Full screen resolution is stretched to hell and back on UWHD screen.
Sub 10 FPS, regardless of tinkering. Unplayable.
Crashes usually only seconds into a game. Menu never crashes, but as soon as you start a game it will crash 10-15 seconds in.
Only because other people seem to have no issue
When I did cerntain things like open and close the camera sometimes it crashes
It says on my profile i played it for 20 hours. I accidentally left the game open when i was on vacation while using remote play, in reality, I would guess 10 minutes at most
Under launch options, I have "PROTON_USE_WINE3D=1 %command%" directly pasted in there.
The game works fine. It is enjoyable for the typical gamer playing on Linux.
This game runs very good but you MUST put this in launch options for the game to boot up = | PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Its not much of a problem but in the menu the game is at around 10fps and takes a long time to change the animatronic's diffculties.
The game sometimes loses a few fps when getting combo'd by like 10+ animatronics, especially after putting the tablet/laptop/camera down and gonig back to the office.
Works out of the box nothing to do
Lags a lot sometimes but really randomly
Some freeze 2 times
Also i'm a noob can't remember keyboard input
Won't Launch
Without any custom flags i can't get it running, altough with the xanmod kernel i was able to launch the game.
Text is nearly unreadable in the oldest version of Proton available.
If you are using the latest version of Proton on low-end hardware, be prepared to suffer with terrible slowdowns.
I doesnt run on lastest proton so i needed to switch on proton 3,7-8
It runs like it's a native game.
Crashes about several seconds after I start the night when using Steam Link
Had to use PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% to get the game running
Problems doing Alt + Tab
It started for me on the first try, and it ran flawlessly, maybe even better than windows.
Pretty sure it only works for 5.13-6, maybe 6.3
