Tried Egg Roll 5.9-GE-5-ST, 5.9-GE-8-ST, as well as proton 5.13-1 and Proton 5.0-10! Also tried installing Origin from Lutris. On Ubuntu with latest GPU drivers.
Note: From previous time. I installed it this time on my main drive rather then external and it opened origin up properly. First install where I installed it on an external did not work.
2nd Controller does not connect.
Cannot play due to input bug.
From the steam forums, I had to install adobe air for linux using these commands. I added a dependent package to the list.
sudo apt -f install libbz2-1.0:i386 libnss3:i386 libxaw7:i386 libnspr4:i386 libxmu6:i386 libxslt1.1:i386 wget -O adobe-air_amd64.deb http://drive.noobslab.com/data/apps/AdobeAir/adobeair_2.6.0.2_amd64.deb sudo dpkg -i adobe-air_amd64.deb
Install adobe air for native support using the commands given below. Original forum post is here https://steamcommunity.com/app/284390/discussions/0/2592234299561823496/ I am not sure if cloud saves work for this game as I lost my saves from last time playing it. Besides this runs like normal. You can also just set it to run with proton instead of native if you want to avoid installing adobe air.

I had to set compatibility force proton in settings to Proton 7.0-2
Achievements did not work, until I hit 'Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool'. So the default didn't work. It should of defaulted to the latest though. So it might be a super rare thing or im not understanding how default proton works. 7.0-2 forced proton seemed to fix achievements.
Without tinkering, achievements did not trigger. Have to just force compatibility. Not all players had this issue. But some others on steam forums did.
