tinker settings likely unnecessary, but work well, so if it's not broken - don't fix it.
Game is very, very early access. I expect that Linux support will come along later, but it's not ready now.

Crashes if alt-tabbing out of fullscreen (borderless)
Clicks; keyboard inputs were extremely delayed. Timing the staging a rocket is impossible on any kind of reasonable timeframe.
Menu is great, but in-game performance is ~5-20 FPS regardless of quality setting
Game crashes if you switch away and back to it while it's in fullscreen.
I expect that I'll try to pick this game up again in the future once it's matured somewhat.
You should probably play some music in the background unless you like it really quiet. Otherwise it works fine so far (about 3 hours played)

No music at all. Sound effects OK.
Crashes on other versions of Proton. Each time you change compatibility tools you must revalidate / fix local game files as the game will crash to desktop without doing so first.
