Native version runs choppy, while Steam's Proton has stuttering issues when transitioning to new areas or rooms. Proton GE works without any problems.
Overall, bugs are minor, but I would recommend using the x64 version for best experience.

Occasional audio crackle.
Stuttering on default x32 version, switch to x64 and it's gone.
Sometimes the screen would be black on X11, Wayland had no problems with it.

As others have said, setting the launch option to bypass the 2K launcher is required for the game to start up. Otherwise runs perfectly.

Audio stopped playing after the game being paused for a while
The demo works fine. There is some stuttering when transitioning to a new area, and at the end of the demo the screen goes white and you have to force quit out of the game. Otherwise runs great!

Single player works fine out of the box from me. Haven't tried multiplayer.
