Tried joining online match, got kicked immediately and temp-banned with code:snake.
This is definetly still unsafe to play, even on Experimental.
Will instantly crash if Mesa drivers are used.
On Intel+Nvidia laptops,
"__VK_LAYER_NV_optimus=NVIDIA_only __NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia %command%
"
to enable use of the NVIDIA discrete card. The game will boot.
Great experience, but no voice chat on default settings
I could not hear the voice chat, and others could not hear me.
To fix, go to Settings > Audio and the microphone to manually selected ACK(...) Audio Controller and speakers to ACK(...) Audio Headphones (Spaker is playing without headphones)
Absolutely enjoyable for games with friends.
Around 24 FPS despite graphical settings.
Played games with friends. No issues here.
Unfortuantely unpleasant to play on default settings and no mods.
Alt-Tabbing while fullscreen will have the game still detect inputs in the background. Does not happen windowed.
Very frequest save corruptions, requires workaround. Start a New Game, and load your save as soon as you can.
No matter graphical settings, explotions and physics heavy scenarios (a lot of objects falling for example) will absolutely tank the framerate.
Loading large, non-overworld cells will occasionally load indefinitely. For safety, save before entering a known unstable area. The game doesn't crash if you reboot your game and reload and the first thing you do is enter the unstable area.
On Linux its a rather unstable experience, at least with my current setup.
Fails (or intentional?) to boot. No error is printed in console.
[DEMO, game not released at this time] Game runs brilliantly
Absolutely brilliant online. Was able to play matches online without any issue against pc and crossplay opponents.
Absolutely no issue on Steam Deck, and feels genuinely like a native experience.
Demo. Absolutely perfect, no issues here.
Demo concluded from start to finish. No issues found, but a single stutter during tutorial for building shaders.
Add PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%

Extreme lag while full screen
Some crumbling after long sessions.
Sometimes some texture will be not visible, instead showing the skybox. On what model or texture it happens is random, and they return to normal after restart. I never noticed any going missing when the game is freshly booted.
After around one hour of playing the game will begin to run sluggishly until restarted.
Absolutely no issues.
I wanna also point that base Wine will run the 2005 RealArcade release without any issue too.
Great overall, some input issues that won't matter for casual play.
It's a struggle to type in search boxes, needing me to alt-tab multiple times until I can type.
Slight mouse input delay.
Use "%command% -popupwindow" to launch the game in fullscreen.
Game booting windowed every time is a game bug on Windows too, not a Proton issue.
