Graphics choppy; game crashes while loading map after coosing "PLAY"
Worked out of the box. The launcher was initially black, but just waiting a minute or two fixed that.
Requires one time code sent to your registered email if your device isn't recognised.

Launcher does not work, shows black screen, after recent patch, had to install d3dcompiler_47. I also installed corefonts, but thinking d3dcompiler_47 was what got the game working.
Doesn't Launch
I've tried default proton, a couple GE versions, I've tried the WINE_CPU_TOPOLOGY fix ... the launcher shows up, but I can never get past the launcher. The game simply doesn't launch any more.
I've had it working before, so something has changed recently.
Set the FPS limiter on the Steam Deck to 30 FPS.
Touch screen clicking is hard to perform with the default UI size.
I had to go into the options and make the UI bigger (I used 1.15 size).
The game defaults to Joystick only controls. I recommend using Steam's Joystick with trackpad as a mouse control scheme. make sure to set the right touchpad click as the left mouse click to use it efficiently. Also keep in mind that you may need to use the Overlay Keyboard for typing.
Hardest part is logging into the game, since the control scheme doesn't default to support the system. Make sure to change the Steam Controller setup to either Joystick with Mouse touchpad or Keyboard + Mouse to play.
game launches and runs fine out of the box. no issues
You may need to run on lower details to avoid crashes, but they also appear under Windows. Except for that, the game runs flawlessly.
UnknownGame crashes every once in a while, you need to raise the ulimit for it to not crash at start if it's set to 4096 (I have mine at 1048576 as per instructions in proton)
