No tinkering needed. GE-Proton9-25 is my default proton.

If you like this style of game, it runs great on deck, at very low power, I'm on 85% battery and the deck is reporting 6hours of battery lif

Had to reinstall from Linux partition to make it work
Installed it under Windows in a dual boot configuration with shared game partition, it didn't start under Linux (when pressing Play the button stayed as if the game was running for a bit but it did not actually run), however once reinstalled under Linux it had no problem starting
Works out of the box.

Ran perfectly
Ran exactly as expected, no performance problems, bugs or stability issues
Game will not launch. No errors printed to any logs, just immediately exits after clicking 'play' before it even show a screen.

When I lunch game in Full-Screnn with XClicker app in background, game completely frezzes and I can't escape it anyway. Only think I can do is hard shutdown. When I launch game in Windowed mode that problem does't exist.
Play in Windowed mode to skip frezzing problems.

Had no issues playing this on Linux, runs as well as if it was running natively.
A quite simple and compatible game to play on Linux.
works fine, fine idle game to knock some time off
Excellent

Windowing is your friend, you can play a lot with it and keep it open! : )
sometimes the performance drops, it happened often for a period of time on the Mesozoic Valley only. Since I completed it, I stopped to stay as much and never noticed slow-downs again.
cpulimit is your friend too, so you can save energy and keep the game open at <1 fps!
Works just fine
work out of box
As of the latest Proton update, works flawlessly out of the box.

Installed, doesn't actually start
Tested with Proton Experimental, 6.3-2, 5.13-6, both with and without PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% as a launch option, doesn't work at all.
Works flawlessly
No issues
Runs perfectly

If game doesn't start try to add "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%" in the game Properties->Launch Options...

No launch commands or workarounds needed at all, game works flawlessly. played 85+hrs so far.

flawless

now with proton 4.2, this is first time the game works. had to use native wine-staging prior to play the game. with versions 3.x same loading screen issue as mentioned below.

It had some graphical issues, but everything works perfectly when you use Wine D3d11 with the following launch options: "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%".

This time nothing happened. I clicked on "PLAY" and the game started running, but nothing showed. I didn't see a loading screen or anything. I waited about 20min and nothing ever happened even though Steam shows that the game is running.

Same as before. I get a loading screen. Eventually the loading screen closes, but the game never opens. Steam says that the game is still running. I waited over 20 hours, but the game never opened for me.

The game doesn't completely open for me. I'm greeted with a loading bar when I launch the game. After a while the loading bar just closes, but the game never opens or starts playing.
I waited over an hour and the game never opened. Steam tells me the game is running, but I'm not seeing or hearing anything.

Works fine without tweaks. However if you alt-tab away and back sometimes doesn't restore some graphics. Close and re-open and all is fine - game-state is restored perfectly.
