With Mulitplayer, you can play with a "Steam lobby" or over a direct connection. Despite it being labelled as deprecated, Steam lobbies do work well.

After the Initial Loading screen with the game's logo, the screen turns black instead of switching to language choosing screen. The music plays in the background. Using Wine D3D11 just changes the screen to white, everything else is the same.

Still nothing but music and a blank screen
UnknownUsing a non-d3d11 GPU (eg. built-in Intel GPU) will not work at all. With default D3d11 the error "couldn't switch to requested monitor resolution" appeared. Using Wine D3d11 starts the game but only a white screen appears after the splash screen so it's unplayable.
Logs show the following error all over the place:
