Unlike my last report the game now runs perfectly fine with the most recent stable proton release 7.0-3
Game opened on my second monitor for some reason. I was able to change it by dragging it over and going back to fullscreen
On top of using the most recent stable version I also used experimental and 7.0rc6-GE-1
Game stutters a lot. I could play through the game, but it would not be an enjoyable experience.
The game worked fine. No problems encountered.
Every once in a while the screen blanked for a second and showed the Unity logo. I'm not sure if this was related to the game delivering Steam trading cards or if this was some kind of glitch.
The game worked great. I got one crash in 10+ hours of playtime.
Runs well out of the box
Runs worse than on a Windows machine, especially in some indoor places. Might not be an issue for someone with a better GPU.
I didn't experience any issues with fullscreen on a dual monitor setup as the previous reporter did.
Ran great
Full screen is weird. It shows up on a 2nd screen instead of main screen. Running it windowed was fine. It also showed my menu bar at the bottom of the screen in full screen.
Ran fine right out of the box, no issues.
Game loads to a plain blue-gray screen with no input or audio. Must force-quit in order to exit.
Performance is good, however the controls tend to glitch out when interacting with objects. The game is not comfortable to play this way.
Some menus bugged (cabinet pin code), mouse can bug out when moving between game window and other windows in multimonitor (causes mouse to spin erratically, fixed by refocusing the game window), after reaching mayor's mansion, game becomes unplayable due to large open area loading in -- fps reduced to a slideshow. Beginning of game is smooth save for some microstutters. Developer has disavowed any plan to release on Linux natively.
It works, but the performance is questionable, the mouse seems erratic in some environments (although it may have to do with the game's own visual effects) and the game crashes on exit, leaving a full-screen black window
It works so far but there are frame drops, playing on full screen prevents mouse movement on menus and such, messed graphics when entering a pin number to open a cabinet. It crashes when saving and quitting (but thankfully it does save, so it is just an annoyance), and finally when moving the mouse slowly, the mouse cursor will move bottom right direction. There are probably more problems, you could probably finish the whole game this way, but good luck with that.
