I got 2 DLC's and they both work fine. I played a bunch of matches with Remote Play and it works flawless
Works fine out of the box
missing text in menus and in the game
Works very well. Texts are all dsplayed except the verion news, but that is a minor non-relevant issue.
Crashes occasionally, but the progress is saved up to last turn
I came across a scenario where it repeatedly crashed when making a certain turn, rendering that particular game unplayable
Installs and runs fine on Linux with the PROTON_NO_D3D11 launch option. Seems to work, but this is a bad port of the board game.
Out of the box, game installed and opened, but there was no visible text. Worked flawlessly after specifying the launch option: "PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 %command%" (no quotes when entering).
This is not a good port of the game and is not as fun as the board game. The "multiplayer" is hot-seat only (NO network play -- LAN or internet), the UI is hard to understand (there's an "options" menu with just music & sound volume, and gameplay options are in a separate menu that's identified graphically, so it took me an hour to realize it was a menu and not just art), the tutorial interface is confusing even to someone quite familiar with the board game, and there was no option to skip the tutorial (that I could find, anyway). Oh yeah, and the game process didn't die when I quit the game -- I had to quit Steam altogether.
Could not start playing
When I first started out of the box, as others have reported there was no text on any menu items. I added the PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 %command% launch settings as suggested, and the text appeared. However, when clicking on Soloor Training to start playing the game, it crashes.
Text is missing from many menu options and informative tips. Fixed by setting launch options to 'PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 %command%'. After options set it shows text but the font seems to be overly large.
The game seemed to lag when clicking on actions but otherwise seemed smooth.
Game launches, but no text and unable to click items if you alt-tab out and back in.
Set launch options to 'PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 %command%' otherwise there is no next. Performance is good. The only glitches are the rotating circles that are boxed do to wrong texturing.
Worked perfectly after adding "PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 %command%" launch option (without quotation marks).
The 'no text' can be fixed by adding "PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 %command%" (no parentheses) to the game's launch options. I'm not sure if there are other issues (steam reviews mention it being worse than mobile, but haven't played this on windows).
No text in menus.
No text displayed on main menu, just blank boxes.
No menu or game text. Not sure if the problem is missing fonts or a rendering problem. Tried installing MS corefonts. Works fine otherwise, but it's not really playable.
