Runs perfectly on Steam Deck
the taskbar at the bottom of the screen will cover part of the game even in fullscreen. set bar to autohide fixes this.
Disable Steam Input option to fix controller
Minor issues throughout but nothing game breaking. Solid experience overall.
Dialogue text and some menu text can be a little hard to read but not too bad.
Some cutscenes would crackle here and there.
Noticed some minor artifacting around the midpoint of the game but nothing major.
One crash during a very long play session but no other reported crashes.
This report was made from 6+ hours played on the Steam Deck from beginning of the game to around midpoint, tested both docked and handheld.
A pleasant and smooth enough experience out of the box
Some small artefacts in the Cardianon Ship, little white squares flashing up in the bottom corners, look unintentional.
Doesn’t cleanly exit most of the time, so need to use Steam button to hard close the game. Pretty consistent after longer sessions where I've saved multiple times.
Game runs well enough, no real issues there. Be aware when playing it out and about that you can only save at specific points on the map, and some sections can involve an hour between save points if you aren't avoiding combat, so it is not a game that lends itself well if you need to quickly save and quit. The game doesn't, however, have any issues playing after being suspended by pressing the power button on the Deck, so that can suffice in a pinch. Default game art on Steam isn't good for the portrait game box icon or for the header of the games page, recommend downloading and setting custom art of the game using desktop mode.
Runs max settings at 60 fine but changed refresh on steam to 40 for extended battery. Seems to only use 9w so can expect about 5 hours
40hz gives about another 40 mins battery
Seems fine
Runs well and at a (mostly) steady 60 FPS
There are some minor visual artifacts on the final planet of the game.
For the first few times I booted the game up, it stuttered quite a bit, but now that I have a decently-full shader cache, it seems to work fine.
I have no idea why this game is marked as Unsupported on the Deck, as I have had no major issues. It deserves at least a Playable rating, if only for the slight stuttering before you've built up a decent shader cache.
I have no idea why this is marked as unsupported. It works perfect on max settings
It's stable and locked 60fps on max settings and the GPU never goes beyond 70%. It's quite impressive, it's amazingly optimized.
Some of the cutscenes have weird, blocky artifacts during the action. Not a big deal.
The game doesn't seem to have vsync by default. It's designed to run at 60 FPS, but often speeds up to 120+, which affects the player mostly while moving around the map. Sometimes it affects cutscenes, though, like a character will proceed to their next dialogue audio while the previous one is still playing, overlapping them.
6.14-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
Worked with Proton 6.3-7. Minor continual stuttering, but not more than a minor annoyance. Noticeable frame drops when entering a new area.
Played 8 battles outside of the ship on the 2nd world, no issues. Crafting also worked as expected. Loading from steam cloud save worked, did not try saving, but dont expect any issue.

Glorious Eggroll 6.14-GE-2
Some transparency issues with smoke textures
Using the latest Proton Experimental, I was able to get past the title screen.
The game stutters heavily when new shaders are being compiled, such as entering/running through a new area or battle, but runs quite smoothly at 60 FPS afterwards. No tweaks or extra launch options needed.
Unplayable. The game crashes after the title screen.
Still crashes when trying to start or go into settings with proton 6.3-3.
as of proton 6.1-ge-2 still does not work
Game starts and shows all the scenes to the start menu but crashes when you choose settings or start.
I made no changes at all. Just installed and started using proton.
Can't get past inital start screen menu
I tried a few things, also turned on logging and had a look around for solutions. Stuck on the error, "warn:seh:setup_exception exception outside of stack limits in thread 00d0 eip 0000000000000000 esp 0000000000000000 stack 0x122000-0x220000" might be a proton issue.
Game still crashes in the start up menu when if you try to mess with settings or start a new game.
it launch get to new game than Crashes
The game can launch and the first section of the game begins. However, before you get to play it crashes.
If I try to access the settings menu the game crashes.
it launch get to new game than Crashes
Window does not open at all unfortunately.
Doesn't launch.
Crashes on launch.
doesn't even open
Probably related to Denuvo
