This game is pretty much broken when run via Proton (freezing, audio crackling, input lag). However, running via ScummVM works great and can easily be done by using Luxtorpeda and then selecting ScummVM as the engine. Needs a couple of fonts to be copied to the game directory as indicated by the ScummVM pop-up but GNU fonts can be used.
