Cursor is hidden on purpose
None of the Proton versions I tried would launch the game at all - it would say "Playing" for a few seconds before crashing with no warning.
Native Linux version runs properly, but it hides the cursor - an intentional decision by the developer, for some reason. There is no way to re-enable it, and the dev is not interested in fixing this issue at all, making the game impossible to play with a keyboard and mouse - and this is not the kind of game you'd want to play with a controller.

No luck
env --unset SDL_VIDEODRIVER gamemoderun %command%
Tried various proton versions and launch options, including trying the native one, all result in nothing but a black screen.

Flawless native experience. Did all puzzles, challenges and a bunch of workshop puzzles with no issues.
ome information about my setup: I am running Gnome 46.3.1, on an Nvidia laptop, with the entire xorg session being rendered using the Nvidia card. I also have my laptop hooked up to a second external monitor.

Works great
Everything runs perfectly, no performance issues or bugs

Switch compatibility to "Steam Linux Runtime"

env --unset SDL_VIDEODRIVER gamemoderun %command%
with XWayland the cursor is larger than on native X11 when using fractional scaling
Will not launch window when SDL_VIDEODRIVER
is set to wayland

Poor color choices in some of the themes
Mouse support does not exist and the Steam Deck controls were not detected.
Controller is not detected and a custom mapping will not work as the developer hides the mouse cursor when detecting any other inputs. This appears to be a known issue which the developer is not interested in fixing.
The gamepad wouldn't work at all from the start, but after restarring my steam deck the. The linux runtime environment worked for me.
Need to switch compatibility to "Steam Linux Runtime" if order to play with the controller.
Limited framerate, cpu watt and gpu clock.
Had to force compatibility "Steam Linux Runtime" in order to make the controller works in puzzles.
Also some dropdown menus doesn't work with the controller and require the touch screen.
There is no cursor showing on screen, so playing with touchpad as a mouse is impossible.
Native game that works perfect out of the box. Currently listed as untested but they advertise it as Steam Deck ready
Perfect. no issues at all and works amazing well on deck. I imagine this will get a verified status at some point.
Works perfectly
Played on Proton 6.3-6, not native
