Works out of the box.
No issues found, works perfectly OOB.

Works perfectly.
Works out of the box. No fiddling required.
Game runs perfectly through Proton with no launch options required.
This game runs perfectly through Proton by default. Using GameMode or Proton Experimental may improve your experience.
Installed Dotmod 0.4a-2 by manually copying the mod files in desktop mod, works great.
Changed made to the virtual menus to suit my preferences, be aware that if you're not a QWERTY user some bindings may have to be changed in order to work, but Robs Optimized is a great layout.
The game has a very steep learning curve, and you really have to work on the controls for a bit in order to make the game comfortable. I strongly recommend to learn how to play, and then customize the controls to suit your needs. Virtual menus are a must with this game, it helps to map a ton of menus and actions. With Steam Input, it's easy to make your own layout, and when everything is in order, the game is perfectly playable. Dotmod compatibility is perfect, but if you want to install any other mod, it's possible in desktop mod. Graphic settings : I turned off antialiasing and ambient occlusion. Beware, the game can be very CPU heavy in some situations, but overall performances are great on Deck.
Minor hiccups
Also installed the DotMod and all still works well
no issues at all
Work out of the box
Works out of the box with Proton 6.3 on Manjaro KDE
Works out of the box
Works out of the box, not quite as smooth as on Windows but completely playable.
Some frame stuttering
Runs great, plays great.
Audio only seems to come out of a center channel speaker.
Didn't try anything with regards to resizing, minimizing, etc. It opened full screen, it stayed open full screen.
It ran as well or better than it does on my windows machine, though I would stress: the hardware in the linux machine is far, far newer.
Did not attempt resizing, minimizing, etc. So, not YES... but also not NO.
This was the first time in a long time that I've attempted trying to run windows games on linux... was blown away.

After figuring out why it would not start it runs perfect now.
Note: This did not work from a mounted NTFS drive.

Does not start at all
Tried fixes used by others, tried multiple proton versions, including latest GE.

Switch from Wayland to Xorg
3 клавиша мыши не работает при исрользовании Wayland. В Xorg все работает хорошо

Does not start.
PLAY changes to STOP and then after a while to PLAY again. Tried with PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command% but did not appear to help

Game hangs when resuming from a lock screen, potentially fatally.
On tab switch, resume from lock screen, or entering the ESC menu, game hangs and often requires force quit. Game has yet to gracefully exit.
Working out of the box.
Runs fine except for the usability breaking crash in combat.
Game seems to repeatedly crash about 5 minutes into an actual combat instance. I haven't been able to determine why but it will always happen at this particular part of the game.
Will try again when a new version of Proton comes out, may just be an issue with this specific version.
Without torpedo controls, game is unplayable.
Unable to use numpad, nor numbers. WASD worked fine. But the rest of the controls were not recognized. Unable to steer torpedoes, cut wire, activate torpedoes, etc.
No joy proton 5.06
Runs very well in proton 5.0. Smooth, minor issues.
Skips frames/lags when you change the volume (using GNOME).

No tweaks needed

Ran the game out of the box, no workarounds needed. It runs without any hiccups on maxed out settings in 1080p, never dipped below 60 fps.

Will freeze up after a few minutes unless you disable Esync. But with that fix in it runs great.

Runs perfectly with PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%, crashes after few minutes without

Use to be issues with Microsoft fonts needed to be added manually to the proton instance however now runs perfectly on the newest version of proton.

It just werks®

Setting PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command% in the launch options was required to get the game to start

Does not start. It shows following error message: 'The game crashed. The crash report folder named 2019-03-03_201318" next to game executable. It would be great if you'd send it to the developer of the game!'. Disable Esync did not help. Neither did installing corefonts, as suggested in other posts.

Played multiple missions and a short campaign. Everything worked out of the box, no tweaks needed. Didn't experience any crashes, even after playing for more than an hour.

I was able to play multiple different single missions. Without disabling esync game was crashing after few minutes of play. No issues with fonts

Setting PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command% in the launch options was required to get the game to start, but performance was nearly perfect at low settings considering I'm on an Intel iGPU (UHD 630). I imagine better graphics hardware would have no issue running this game.

Crashes after few minutes in mission

Latest proton beta has fonts installed, so now it works out of the box.

Used "protontricks 541210 corefonts" to fix missing text in mission windows. All tutorials and two single missions played without issue.
