Sadly the music is missing, so the only things you hear are the ambient and other sounds, the voices work as they should. 3d acceleration options arent available.
Gore looks weird, the gibs are glitchy and the bodies are intact, the power "locusts" doesnt show the locust Malachi throws, just small glitches that dont affect gameplay.
Alt tabbing always crashes the game.
this happened to me once, i saved from the menu and that savegame got corrupted, using quicksaves (with f5 to save and f6 to load) worked for me as it should.
Sometimes clicking control configuration crashes the game, but its too uncomon.
I had fun playing the game from start to finish, the main campaign can be played without problems (like crashes or freezes that dont allow to finish the game) , the only way to run the game is by using Proton Experimental, i tried running it with Proton ge and normal proton, but it didnt load or the text was buggy.

The game has some bugs when loading, it shows my desktop for a while it looks seizure inducing in my opinion , then it loads the game.
looks like a save game got corrupted, and when loading it the game crashes, i tried to load another save game, and it loaded like it should, so i suggest saving often on different savefiles to avoid this.
the game text will be unreadable using normal proton or proton ge, but using proton experimental fixes it. I played the first level without problems with Proton Experimental, trying to launch the D3D executable shows an error that says , Could not initialize 3-D graphics, so the only way to play it is by using the normal executable.

i updated the nglide version in the game directory like described here https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=37064
after game start the mainmenu is black. with quicksave and quickload you wont need it anyway
- install game, 2. change nglide version (copy newer files from https://www.zeus-software.com/downloads/nglide) in game directory 3. change proton to 5.0-10. thats what worked for me.
Attempting to alt-tab and force windowed will break the game
You had to click the left or right mouse buttons every time you unpause the game in order to look around properly
As it stands this game is a complete mess to get running in Windows and Linux. While I managed to get into the game, albeit with extremely strict parameters, the game regularly crashed which made the game hog the screen. The only way to fix this is accessing the ctrl+alt+F2 menu and closing the game through htop.
The game itself seems interesting and right up my alley but I cannot recommend ever trying to get this game running unless a miracle update or remaster happens to get it running smoothly on modern systems.

Game launches, Audio works fine, only black Screen
Game uses the nGlide 3DFX Wrapper, 3DFX Logo Shows, after that only black screen. Trying to launch the game with the D3D.exe fails with an Error, same when using the Requiem.exe, reconfiguring the nGlide Settings didn't help.
