A poor man's call of duty works fine for the most part

The single player campaign cannot be completed due to a "General Protection Fault" during loading of a very early mission.
The game reproducibly crashes when starting the "Friends from Afar" mission.
Network error
Ping doesn't show up in the server browser, but it does in-game. Mostly dead, but you can often find a game on busy nights
Connection with the activation server can't be established.

Unable to login ("Network error")
It is not possible to register the CD key, which is required in order to begin playing.

Non-proton issues - Login Server
I was able to install the game (including Punkbuster) with no issue. Got to the main menu and was able to click around and change settings. When I tried to load the actual game, I was asked to log in to EA and to provide the CD key (which is given in the single player config). Entering both resulted in a generic "Network failure".
There are guides that include installing and launching the single player game (which I was not able to do) and installing Origin, which I might try later.

Some glitch when activating the game first time, had to re-run it 3-4 times for it to get proper network connection. After that it worked nicely. Seems like something that could work poorly on win as well, therefore plat status.

Only Single Player tested. Had to manually install Origin to get it working. Played through first map without any issues noticed.

Fails after inserting key, error says: 'General Protection Fault! History: Address = 0x7a0295 (filename not found) [in moh.exe]
