Intel ARC cards may have occasional freeze, iGPU like AMD Vega works better, no issues.
Very cool game, honestly I didn't figured out the native version but here is pointless if we don't test games translated with Proton modules. Developers: please, investigate on Intel ARC cards via Intel MESA (24.1.0) because after two years and half it is very strange that we still get sporadic screen freeze forcing the hard reset. It's a driver issue for sure because AMD MESA works perfectly. What if other users simply can't switch to the integrated solution because they only have an Intel VGA? The ARC 580 is going to be a convenient choice for many customers out there but you need to optimize, cooperate more with the Linux open source community. To Intel: you too! After two years and half we are still waiting for a decent control panel, voltages and temps lectures, fan regulators. What the heck, there isn't only US market here. In Europe Intel ARC are more convenient than AMD Radeon and NVIDIA is a no way because even an RTX 3060 is expensive as 4060, there is no big deal even on previous gen cards and, however, not the wisest choice under Linux based systems.
Native version works well

Runs well, just adjust the resolution in settings
Game started at a very high resolution, wich cause the cursor to move weirdly. Adjusting it to my native resolution fixed it.
Closing the game takes too long for some reason and it slows down my computer a lot.

960x540 res w/ FSR scaling
Fullscreen crops the sides of the image at 1280x720 resolution. Toggle fullscreen off to fix.
Gamepad controls are fully supported but there is no analog movement, which makes aiming difficult.
Considerable slowdown and/or stuttering anytime more than a few enemies are active, which is most of the time from level 2-1 onward.
Default sensitivity was WAY too touchy.
Though the 800p res was present in the menu, it could not be selected. Game played fine in 720p, however.
It saw what could have been very slight slowdown at points in my run. It was an early part of the game, so this may be worse as things get more frantic later on.
