Some sprites like trees were really jagged, in the 2D sections the foreground showed in front of the character
For some bizarre reason WASD-inputs have trouble registering in the 2D-sections and Logic Dive. With a controller there was no issues and even then the other keys worked fine though

To get game to run natively, delete the library file called "librt.so.1" in the "lib" directory of the game's directory. Here's the relative path to the file for me. After that, the launcher ran to start the game. ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc/lib/librt.so.1
Game ran great with mouse/keyboard and generic controllers. Used Steam Cloud to sync saves across multiple computers.

Shows initial launcher, but you can browse with controller buttons and set to never show again.
Audio can become mute after waking from sleep

You will have to use the touchscreen or a mouse for the first launch, in order to interact with the graphics settings start menu. You can select a box to avoid having the menu pop up again, but this will remove your ability to easily bring the menu back, essentially locking your graphics settings.
Game requires Proton-GE to work, will not launch without it.

Native didn't launch, Proton 8 worked great
The native version is shipped with an older library (librt) which seems to cause problems to start up the game (some users have recommended simply deleting the "librt.so.1" file, I haven't tried it though). Using Proton 8.0.3 worked flawlessly.

Runs flawlessly besides one small issue displaying models in some parts of the game
In my experience during some small sections of the game, models woudnt display properly glitching everywhere on the screen or even show up. Its extremely noticeable at the end of the game at the point of beeing unplayable and it kinda ruined a bit of the mood for me since I had to close the game a few times trying to fix the issue.
To fix the issue, run the game with openGL instead of Directx
Works out of the box, very cool Kanye.
Due to an error with an included library the game would not launch. Fixed by removing the "librt.so.1" file from the "libs" folder on the game directorey
Lowered to 4w Max TDP
Game may freeze after returning from sleep, try to avoid sleeping the game if possible.
Was working natively prior to 3.4.2 but now continues to loop infinitely when attempting to launch the game from either desktop or game mode.
The native Linux version runs beautifully
Encountered one freeze with buzzing noise in chapter 5. Save often!!
The first game that I finished mostly on Linux. Did not have any issue playing the native version besides one (rather scary) crash near the end of the game, but after restarting the game I was right back in.

Works well with very low power usage, as expected. Waking from sleep sometimes results in a freeze or lack of input.
Set TDP to 3 watts
Lights have a boxy look
Controls stop working after sleep sometimes.
Native works perfectly
Did not have any problems completing the game using the native port. Did not try Proton.
Game works flawlessly.
Linux port refuses to boot but with Proton it runs better than Windows.
Linux port seems to be broken (at least for me) so to get the Windows version running in Proton, you have to do the following:
Start protontricks with
protontricks -gui
and choose "install an application"Choose the game in the drop-down menu
Hit cancel, and now the previous menu will have more options. Choose "Install a Windows component or DLL"
Install "d3dx11_42" "d3dx11_43" "d3dcompiler_42" and "d3dcompiler_43"
Once finished, run the game with Proton Experimental (as of October 12th 2021)
Game runs ONLY in fullscreen and ignores any settings for Windowed or borderless
