Works fine now
This is an update to my previous report the game now seems to run fine since I upgraded to AMD prior to this I was using an Nvidia (So possibly could have been to do with that?) other than that It works perfectly fine
Works great!
The game synchronizes the video settings using Steam cloud saves, so if you have launched it on your desktop at high resolution at some point it might give you a 'ERROR: CreateDevice failed!' message on your Steam Deck and refuse to boot. You can fix this by lowering the resolution and disabling fullscreen on the desktop version before launching it on your steam deck.
I am not sure but I have tried multiple versions of Proton and they have all given the same results the game just randomly shuts down
after the crash the quick save i did had vanished
all variations of proton the game always just closes itself down randomly
I am going to try and tinker around and see what if I can solve this issue will update if I have any joy but as of now this game is unplayable
Aside from one random crash, it worked fine as far as I can tell. I didn't try any mods.
Game crashed to desktop once and only once in my entire playthrough. Hard to tell if it was Proton-related.
For enable uncensorship mods(Mod Loader), you need use this Launch Options and use the hook version:
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="d3d9=n,b" %command%
Runs perfectly. didn't tried any uncensoring mods, just the base game.
Injection Mode for Mods Isn't working for now. The Game itself works but is recommended play under VM With GPU Passthougth or Windows because Mods Uncensorship and HQ Textures.
