I can't believe this game is free. It runs perfectly except my Dualshock 4's D-pad wasn't getting detected in the settings.

The game works perfectly with a keyboard. I couldn't get my Dualshock 4's D-pad to be detected in the software. Steam Input works if you want to use that.
Play this game!
Perfectly playable after minimal configuration
Gamepads are not properly supported. Use a layout that maps the Deck inputs to keyboard (WASD + Enter)
Set Fullscreen to ON in the Options menu.
No issues found with Proton 7.0-1
No controller issues, also no need to launch in safe mode
Works, but has some nuances
- Launch the game in safe mode to get the audio working.
- Controller does not seem to work properly as input is stuck as if "up" is pressed.
- Keyboard is required to play properly. Controller must be disconnected prior to game starting otherwise keyboard will not work.
Use -safe or choose "Launch in safe mode" for audio
Needs safe mode to play audio
Full screen was blurrier than window x# magnification options and had glitched graphics outside of the square window the game was played in
F310 in both legacy DI and XBox modes caused the game to continuously push up while playing, and the options screen would not allow mapping the DPad in either analog mode. Mapping the directions to the X/Y/A/B buttons did not prevent the game from continuously pushing up either. Even after unplugging the gamepad, it required restarting the game to restore proper keyboard control
Ran game with "-safe" launch option.
No audio without running with the "-safe" launch option.
Graphics are very low quality, and look poorly stretched. Game looks slightly better in windowed mode, but there is still noticeable degradation in the visuals when compared to the Windows version.
To enable the safe mode launch option, go to the game in your library, click on settings (gear icon), and select "properties". Click the "Launch Options" button and input "-safe" (no quotes). Then launch the game again, and choose the second option ("Launch Princess Remedy in A World of Hurt in Safe Mode"). This should fix the audio issues.
No sound; graphics and input reactions are on-point, played it to completion without interruption.
works in safe mode
Game only has sound in safe mode and the graphics are rather blurry. I also had problems with my controller. While it was plugged in, the character kept walking upwards and the game didn't let me reconfigure the controller settings; the configuration first asks to press up on the D-pad, but it ignored any input from the joypad. Rest of the game seemed to run fine when I unplugged the pad.
seems playable, but the sound is only working in safe mode.
Needs to launch in safe mode for sound to work. Graphics looks blurry unless running in 1x windowed mode.
This game works in very low resolution and in 4:3 by itself - so Proton scaling is causing a bit of problem here; game works better in window than in fullscreen. For some reason I have no music nor sounds. Game is perfectly playable btw.
"ERROR: ld.so: object '/home/tux/.steam/ubuntu12_32/gameoverlayrenderer.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded (wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32): ignored."
Launch the game in safe mode, no sound otherwise. Graphics upscaling looks blurry instead of pixel perfect.
