Everything I wished for on the steam deck! Just works (tm). I remapped my controls but it's really just personal preference.
Even more fun than on PC. Playing this game since release, the steam deck gives it new life
I did have difficulties to get wine working but after that it runs perfectly.(Game crashed to tech calendar Use WB to test if its working.)

Only main menu works
Game crashes when loading a new game.
Works for me but you can't zoom without getting a black map. Saving and loading the restores that

Hung after 6 mins exactly the same as Civ: IV does. Played well before that.

UnknownUnknownTwo error messages keep popping up when the game tries to load its files. Both are related to being unable to load XML files. You need to install MS XML Core Services 3.0 (msxml3) through winetricks in order to solve the errors and make the game start properly.
