Using Fedora 38 (KDE). Game works smoothly, just as it did on Windows.

Game runs at 60 FPS, so change your refresh rate to 60Hz
At the beginning of each night, each image sequence animation takes a while to load the first time, so moving around and checking on the animatronics might have a slight delay the first time
This runs absolutely perfect and possibly runs better than on Windows.
When turning on the flashlight at the doors would sometimes freeze the game for around half a second when there is an animatronic ready to jumpscare you or during the start of the night (usually stops at halfway through 12am or around the beginning of 1am). But its not a big deal and an issue you could easily forget about. But in conclusion the game runs perfectly!
Works fine for the most part
I would have a second screen (my primary monitor) running at 1280x800 and the game would force itself to my secondary 1920x1080 monitor, making the game not fit the window.
Primary monitor set to 720p 16:10 because of Steam Deck. Set it to 1080 and it works fine other than forcing itself to secondary monitor.
It runs better then on Windows.
I have experienced loading problems is proton 5.0-9 but i just switched to proton 4.2-9 and it works very well.
