Runtime Error! R6016
Like most here, I am getting the R6016 error.
I found this page https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38388 which details solving this error for Visual Studio express.
I tried protontricks 323370 win81 dotnet45 vcrun2015 based on what I read in the winehq discussion, but it didn't fix it. I'm still continuing to investigate the winehq discussion, I think the answer could be in there.

Crash error saying that cannot load copycub.dll and steamsupport.dll. So, you cannot play...
If you try to run the game with wine-staging patch, will run with no problems even using gallium-nine or wined3d for dx9 and CSMT/ESYNC disabled.

I modified the AllowJoystickInput option to 0 in Terafolder/Client/S1Game/Config/S1Engine.ini
I added WINEDEBUG=-all to start the game
I downloaded and extracted http://files.playonlinux.com/TERA_Wine_Fix.zip to the Terafolder/TERA/Client/
I added the IP + patch.tera.enmasse-game.com to /etc/hosts
When you click Play, the error error of CopyCub.dll and SteamSupport.dll appears. Even though Launcher loads, it tries to download the updates but soon closes
