had to use virtual keyboard on new game start to type player name and press enter. prompts are slightly confuse
- Select 1680x1050 resolution for fullscreen 16:10 aspect ratio without black bars.
- Graphical settings can be set at max (ultra, MSAA 8x, AF 4x)
Game runs well, just be careful with exiting.
The game itself runs fine and I never had any stability problems when playing.
However, when trying to quit, the game would freeze, refuse to close, and lock up my desktop to the point of needing to reboot. To work around this, alt-tab and kill the game via Steam rather than trying to exit normally.
While the intro video worked fine, the ending video did not play.
Once past the initial "New Game" menu that requires a hyprid of gamepad and keyboard everything should work as expected.
Game configuration can only be done through a (skippable) launcher window that only supports mouse input.
While most of the in-game menu's can be navigated with gamepad, some menus require the use of the "Enter" key and name entry requires the digital keyboard.
DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 %command%
Game is playable out of the box. The port is of questionable quality. Max resolution is 1080p and game loop is locked to 30fps regardless of refresh rate or vsync settings.
If you, like me, are a weeb you might want to install japanese voices and fix the script. Instructions over at pcgamingwiki
Some settings may cause the game to freeze at certain points. This also seemingly happens on windows.

Vsync causes unregistered input. Vsync off fixes it but framerate not limited. Not really playable for me like that.
When vsync is enabled, controllers (keyboard, gamepad) inputs are oftentimes not registered. For example, on the menu screen, I need to mash the confirm button to load my save.
This does not happen when vsync is off, but since the framerate is not limited, this is not really a solution (don't want to 100% my GPU to get 1000+ fps).
What I think is happening is the game only checks input 30 times per second when vsync (it assumes 30fps) and thus misses inputs when the screen supports more (tested on a 165hz screen).

Works properly on an older version of Proton
Alt-Tab makes the game window disappear when using proton 6.3-8 and Proton Experimental on dwm
Seems to work fine on Proton 6.3-8 and Proton Experimental but the game window disappears if I Alt-Tab in fullscreen.
I tried using Proton 5.13 and didn't notice any issues but Alt-Tab worked properly now, so I used that version instead.

Game works identically as on Windows, any issues are due to the game and not Proton.
Alt-tab does not work in fullscreen mode (at least in Linux Mint Cinnamon), however it works fine in windowed mode.
Completed full playthrough, no crashes and good performance (occasional lag) at 1080p (frame rate is capped at 30 fps).
Note on configuring advanced graphic settings: enabling Depth of Field and Back Buffer will prevent anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering from having an effect in-game. With Back Buffer disabled the main menu flickers a lot but is still usable.
Keyboard + mouse and gamepad controls all work great.
El menu de configuracion se cierra repentinamente si quieres mappear tus controles
Works really well
Drops frames sometimes, don't know if it's a game or a proton problem.
It drops frames sometimes and had to disable v-sync to fix some stuttering I was getting, but it's a minor inconvenience and it's perfectly playable.
Do not enable the Depth of Field effect since the Shader is broken (even on Windows)
Works OOTB
Played all the way through with no issues.

Crashes in some parts of the game. Opened an issue on this: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/2177

A would be Platinum except the game wouldn't run until I turned off "complexity shader" in advanced options. The game ran perfect after this. Even allowing me to turn the "complexity shader" back on as well as every other graphical option.

Perfect

Performance seems a little lower than running on native Windows, but runs perfectly fine otherwise.

Yesterday (2018-08-22) had input problems, today (2018-08-23) everything is OK. Did nothing aside from updating Steam.
