Cutscene crash
As others have mentioned, cutscenes crash the game. Can be fixed by removing the cutscenes, but then you miss out on plot details. Sucks! Hopefully this'll get resolved soon, but I wouldn't count on it.
Videos aren't working, see extra notes. Otherwise game runs flawlessly.
Videos aren't working, the game crashes when trying to play any video. You must rename or delete the video folder in the game directory to play the game. Most likely the game uses old legacy APIs from the Windows XP era to play videos which aren't implement in Proton/Wine at all.
There would be a lot of missing Plot due to the Videos missing.
After Debugging I found out that when renaming the Video folder to something else the Game would stop crashing when a video would be played. It seems that the game calls unsupported/unavailable Windows Mediaplayer APIs.
Crashes render game unplayable
Game crashes regularly and asks the user to write a minidump to help the developers fix the issue. The first one happens right when starting the game, but a save game is created, which can be used to continue. The next one happens right after the sword training and cannot be skipped and the last save is ~5 minutes prior.
After clicking start new game get error "important information for the coders can be collected to fix this problem if you create a minidump. Do you want to create a minidump?" After clicking yes or no the game locks up.
Starts to load then gives error "Your graphics card must be compatible with DirectX 10"
Like native.
Flawless.
