Switched from Wayland to X11
I had similar issues to what Comodinoh reported; black screen but audio. Switching from Wayland session to X11 fixed this.

Game launches and input/sound works but it's all a black screen
The game opens up and input and sound works fine but it doesn't render any graphics leaving it with a black screen although I can still interact with the UI
Had to switch to Proton 7.0-6 to close the window cuz otherwise it would just hang

Mostly fine but issues with fullscreen
Desktop environment's panel is visible over the bottom of the game even in fullscreen mode and may cover some of the UI depending on the panel's height. (My DE is Cinnamon, might not happen on other DEs.) Also, windowed mode doesn't scale properly when set to resolutions above the default.
Runs reasonably well based on the little I've played on Linux. The fullscreen problem might be distracting and in worst case cover enough of the UI to make the in-game menu unusable. It doesn't seem to be a common issue, though.

Whenever I save the game, i'm redirected to another running window. While I'm able to get back to the game, it's still an inconvenience nonetheless
Light tinkering is needed when running this game. On Proton Experimental, the button layout doesn't work like it should.

After switching to proton GE 8-3, the save/load issues present with normal proton was fixed.

gamemoderun %command%
Attempting to exit the game crashes it

Sometimes crackling, sometimes perfect
The game works perfectly fine from start to finish. But as the other comment suggested, you should change the controller layout so you can access the menu for saving the game.
Works flawlessly but need a custom mouse based controller layout to be able to save (there is a hidden menu on the bottom right of the screen that only appear when the mouse cursor is over the menu).
Used 15 FPS mode
Locks up on load / save screen.
Saving outside of the autosave isn't possible - attempting to save blocks all user input. About 6 hours before second autosave.
CPU power set to 3W
Audio could break for 10+ min after coming out of suspension.
Saving outside of the autosave is impossible, the save prompt seems to bring up something outside of the window. Inconvient since the second autosave doesn't occur for two whole chapters.
Mouse was slightly off
Could play the full game out of the box, no tinkering needed. Same experience as on Windows. No slowdonws, audio glitches or anything.
Runs perfect.

Played from start to finish. No problem whatsoever.

No problems; have previously completed the entire game in vanilla Wine, and all looks to be working here.
