Requires KBM for ideal first time use
Runs great, creating your own local world takes a couple of minutes, as it does on Windows
After a pretty rough start, the only issue I had was some minor controller problems. Ran pretty well overall.
Edited in-game controls to match some mismatched inputs on the controller layout
Some tutorial and guide windows were hard to read due to small text and specific formatting choices
Occasionally some inputs would stop working until I opened and closed the configuration screen, mostly the input for the escape key
First time starting a game, it was very laggy upon loading into a world. I tried lowering the graphics settings to see if that would help and my entire Deck froze. I had to hard reset it with the power button to get out of the game. After that initial issue I haven't had a problem at all.
Load times can be a bit long, which can be a pain if you have any crashes at the start like I did. They did seem to speed up a bit after the first few times loading into my world.
gamemoderun %command%
Create a offline World needs a long time, ca. 10 minutes after this, offline works without problems.
It is more of a maybe, it depends on how well their system would run this game.
It seems to run a bit laggy, I need to speed more time with that game to get a better idea how well it will perform
Singleplayer doesnt work, multiplayer game only
I only joined a friends server, did not try to host, but worked absolutely fine. Performance sucks, but it sucks in Windows as well...
Game can’t create own world
Use version Proton 3.16. When i setting 3.7.8, game crashing after connection to server. You can't create your own world but you can play on existing servers.
The game runs fine but you can't create a world and must join an existing one. Creation of a world results in an error code while loading it.
Game starts, cannot create world, and cannot join a world/server as the client hangs and crashes.
