I don't think it deserves platinum rating
Changing in-game graphics causes crash
Game speed is tied to 60fps, If You use high refresh rate monitor, You must turn off vsync to fix game running too fast.
It only works with proton stable, in proton-ge or proton experimental You get black screen, and You need to hold left mouse click to keep the game running... Changing graphics crashes the game, but changes are saved.
Do not use proton expermental (which is what steam will use by default) as it'll cause the game to start to a black screen. Using the latest version of proton (9.0-3) or any version below that (also tested to the title screen on 5.13-6) will allow the game to run without issue (without it issues I've experienced on windows with it just crashing when changing display settings).
Starts up but any graphical changes causes crash
The game starts up as a small window, and any graphics config (such as setting to fullscreen) mcauses the error " 0 - IDirect3DDevice9::Reset is Invalid call šGš%ā¬ā»[šh:0x8876086c" (not exact couldn't copy paste). And clicking Okay ont hat little popup (like Windows 98 style UI) causes the game to close.
Runs great
Like others, use 720p and not the Deck's 800p. Expect little borders atop and bottom.
Runs Great
No issues at all. Framerate is good and default control configuration is fine. I tweaked it specifically to optimize the lock on ability but it isn't necessary for normal play.
Works well, not much to say
If you want proper 16:10 resolution, it's possible, but requires getting Astebreed Tweaker (AsteTweak) to modify the resolutions available. In my case I changed 1280x720 to be 1280x800. Runs beautifully either way, but I definitely prefer full resolution myself. This is an issue on Windows as well, and one the community has been rather vocal about.
Works out of the box
Works flawlessly right out of the box and the Steam Cloud save carries over nicely from a previous Win10 installation. Played through to the final chapter using a DS4 without issues.
Runs flawlessly, recognized my Logitech F310 controller with out any problem.
Runs perfectly, no glitches.
Zero issues with the game, everything worked out of the box.
Finished game with native-like experience
Graphics look great, sound and music are flawless, and the controls are perfect. So far I've only tried the tutorials.
Can have issues with steam controller and rebinding right stick possibly due to deadzone issues. Issue can be worked around by temporarily disabling the left stick, which allows you to bind the right stick. Performs well, with 100% GPU utilisation on this modest GPU.
Joypad works, 60fps, everything seemingly ok after some sound glitches during game bootup.
