Zorin allows for Fractional scaling. My scaling at the time was forcing the fullscreen to be larger than the monitor. Changing the screen resolution rather than scaling was the fix for this.

Game works out of the box with none of the graphical bugs or crashes as seen on Windows 8/10. Historical Battles work perfectly and so does the sandbox mode. FPS was a constant 144 during gameplay
