Runs like any other buggy unoptimized early access title. 30-40 FPS @1440p

No any specific bugs observed related to Linux, only game-specific. You need at least Proton 10.4 GE for multiplayer, othervise it would not work. 4-hour game session in multiplayer was pretty stable.

Only issue I've had so far is the game freezing on loading a save after returning to the main menu from an active game, and when closing my mouse not clicking anything on my desktop. Small fix for the latter is to Alt+F4 out of the game instead of clicking the exit button in the menu.
Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: GE-Proton9-16, protontricks Not my tutorial but from this channel here:
Launch protontricks -> select Drive Beyond -> default prefix -> install a windows DLL or component -> select vcrun2022 -> install
I do not own the full game, testing was done with the demo. Same tinkering options should work for full version as well.

Game doesn't start
Failed to initialize Steamworks: Error: Some other failure

Game won't start. Error message
Installed missing vcrun2022
A D3D11-compatible GPU (Feature Level 11.0, Shader Model 5.0) is required to run the engine.

Did not launch without launch option

If you like games like My Summer Car this game is in the same vein. Goofier and a bit buggy.
Launch protontricks -> select Drive Beyond -> default prefix -> install a windows DLL or component -> select vcrun2022 -> install
I do not own the full game, testing was done with the demo. Same tinkering options should work for full version as well.

The Demo doesn't start and shows c++ runtime error, the main-game works fine.

"The following component(s) are required to run this program: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime"
[ ] Error The following component(s) are required to run this program: Microsoft Visual c++ Runtime

сыро и отсутствуют гибкие настройки графики. игра в раннем доступе это нормально. если закрыть глаза на просадки во время езды то играть мож
просадки до 10 fps во время езды

Game works perfectly just like under windows. Visual glitches and MP desync issues are the same on windows if not worse. VRAM leak has been fixed as of a few updates ago.

works out of the box

Installed ProtonUp-Qt Downloaded GE-Proton9-16 in ProtonUp-Qt Choose GE-Proton9-16 for Drive Beyond Horizons Launced Steam Choose “force the use of a specific steam play compatibility tool” Selected GE-Proton9-16 All working, no issues for me
You will need to install the ProtonUp-Qt program and use it to download GE-Proton9-16 Very simple, no need to modify files or use the terminal or anything, plug and play

Added some extra buttons that the default layout was missing
The game bugged out at some point showing the menu but i could walk and fight but everything was blurred

gamemoderun %command%
Textures became very low quality around 40km mark
As you approach the end of the game it leaks VRAM heavily causing hte textures to become super low quality
Movement began stuttering around 42km mark

Ocasional temporary freezes in gas stations
Multiplayer works as expected
