Default video settings will not excede 25-30 FPS, I've had to lower the resolution a bunch.

Going in and out of fullscreen is a bit weird and resets resolution often, just need to change it back in the settings
The game is barely playable with dx12 for me, but runs smooth with dx11

Was a bit weird to get it into fullscreen initially, but gnome might also be to blame. Stayed fullscreen once I got it there.
If you're using an Intel GPU like me (Arc B580) you MUST use DX12 mode or it will just crash and say nothing other than "fatal error". From looking at other posts here it seems the issue also affects iGPUs. The initial startup in DX12 mode took a while and looked like nothing was happening but once it had started the first time it was fine afterwards.

Works Without Issue
I played one full run with some friends (who play on Windows) and we were able to make it to the end with no noticeable issues.
Initial start of the game took a minute or two; however, the same behavior was observed on a Windows install.

I am using GE-Proton globally. Thus I am not considering this a tinker setup. Besided a very long initial start (approx 3 minutes) the game ran flawlessy!

not working
fatal error

Only DirectX 11 Version runs, others don't even launch.
Works perfectly OOTB

Game freezes at launch for a bit of time , maybe a minute then runs ok in window mode, after reducing graphics .

Easy one click play. Like or better than native.

Overlay Steam désactiver.
J'ai dû activer le mode plein écran, suite à un décalage entre le curseur et l'écran tactile dans le menu.
Pour la Steamdeck, désactivez l'overlay Steam et configurer le jeu en plein écran.
Used DirectX 12 but would imagine it would work on any setting.

the game starts in fullscreen, and then switches to windowed. changing it back in the settings works.
i launched with DX12 because i'm a diva and DX11 is beneath me

Game doesn't launch when you don't pick Directx11 version

Game works just fine. No tinkering required.

It doesn't launch at all!

I have tryed a launch options and diff proton versions but it doesn't launch

Works perfectly for me
I installed, I launched, I played. Everything worked directly and perfectly for me, even my X Box 360 controller.

Played with Friends for about 30 mins before work. Worked perfectly, just downloaded and used Proton Experimental. Shaders took a min tho
Worked Perfectly. No commands, just forced experimental (although thats my default anyway)
Installed, Used Launch Commands "gamemoderun mangohud %command%", Protron Experimental, Doesn't Launch

Initially didnt like the mouse in the multiplayer lobby. But I tabbed in and out and it fixed it. No issues in the game though.

Game runs amazingly
Game runs perfectly with 0 issues. Played with friends on windows without issue.

You can get preferred fps and graphics much easier after the most recent update

Without Proton 9.0-2, no matter what settings I was on it was lagging.

Switch to 9.0-2 for stable experience.
The game ran really bad until I switched to 9.0-2.

Works perfectly
I launched with DX11, took probably 30 seconds to start the first time. On default settings (high I believe), my system specs manage to make 60-100 fps depending on the direction I am looking. It felt very smooth. Disable vsync to get prevent being capped at 60fps.

Had to use ProtonGE for it to work.

Couldn't open the game
Tried Proton Experimental, GE-Proton9.7 and Proton 9.0-2. Nothing worked.

Some lag spikes, but nothing that affected my gameplay
Using Proton 9.0 runned without problems
Won't start. Tried Proton Experimental (Steam default), Proton 9 and Proton 8. Tried all launch options.

Chained together is a game about climbing up a structure with your friends while being chained together
Controller isn't detected until in the actual game
I froze once so far but save system is good enough so that I didn't lose significant progress
Froze once although it was only me that froze so it might not be tied to multiplayer
You can get 30-40 fps by turning everything to either off or Low and putting resolution scale at 60. You will need to use either touch screen or external mouse to go through the Menus, but once you're in game your Xbox Controller will be detected, I would recommend turning camera sensitivity to max for a usable camera with controller. This isn't the best way to play this game but it IS playable and is still quite fun even with the visual sacrifices for a steady fps.

Worked out of the box with multiplayer

Launch with DirectX 11
Failed to launch with default launch and DirectX 12

INTEL_COMPUTE_CLASS=1 INTEL_DEBUG=noccs %command%
disabling lossless color compression using noccs solved it
30fps @ 4k. the game currently doesn't respect resolution settings and renders in native. I wasn't able to drop resolution to 1440p or 1080p
Give it a try if you are fine with 30fps. You can always request a refund from Steam
