Native linux port had problems with keybindings where almost none of my keys were working both on my keyboard and on my ds4. Started using the proton versin by --> Properties >> Compatibility >> Force Use of a specific Steam Play Compatibility tool

It works flawlessly Out of The Box and works as intended.
It's nice to see that Proton helps indie developers to publish their games into multiple operating systems without cashing out a single dime.
