Could not acquire information for App ID: . This can happen if a game was removed from the store. When loading the game, it gets stuck in "Awaiting snapshot" loop if the game is started by left clicking on the start button. Instead, pressing Enter on the keyboard while the mouse is hovering on start button seems to start the game up properly.

There's a brightness issue--it's too dark--you can fix by simply entering 'r_overbrightbits 0' or 'r_ignorehwgamma 1' on the in-game console, accessed by pressing the tilde (~) key. After that it runs perfectly, & unlike on Windows the Steam overlay will render at your desktop resolution rather than the (likely lower & thinner aspect ratio) in-game resolution, which was a pleasant surprise. Preferably, you could also just install a native & more modern source port like ioquake3 or Spearmint.

Working perfectly out of the box.

Could not start a single player game, caught in "awaiting snapshot" loop. Tried disabling sound but it did not fix. May be a problem with the game itself. Cannot check due to it not booting on Windows.

The mouse draws over the background

There's a long-standing bug (even in Windows) where the mouse endlessly copies itself to the background. That happens here.

Some minor mouse issues in the menu. Be sure to play on native res, that helps.

Mouse movement in menus seems odd, otherwise smooth gameplay
