
(i dont really know what any of these settings do for sure, i just know they work for me)
- set watt limit to 15w
- set manual gpu clock limit to like 1600hz i think
- configure game graphics settings and set game resolution scale to 75 - 80 percent
the game performs perfectly in less densely populated spots (local player count) other than an occasional freeze up which can set you back a bit in a race (usually bike races, snow sports dont seem to glitch when the game freezes for a few frames)
undo tinker steps, tinker steps use more power to meet the games graphical / computational demands
freezes for about a couple frames then immediately performs fine

The game runs suprisingly well, setting all graphics to low and disabling crossplay with tdp set to 15W gives you stable 60 fps in most area
had to manually install Proton Battleye for the game to launch
Text is pretty blurry, but not to important in a sport game
ocassional framedrops during downhill ski races

You cannot play it right now :( It worked few version ago but now you will get BattlEye error everytime. And I have everithing updated

I am not able to use remote play on my TV the game audio comes through but just a black screen
I do have many other games installed on the arch package version of steam only this and portal reloaded I cannot get to work. Possible issue with GLIB_C flags on latest packaged version of steam

Did not find any problems except some minor graphical details that migth also appear on windows, I don't have windows to test.

WIll not launch
I have tried proton-GE 8-21, 23, 25 AMD drivers so not NVIDIA issue could it be anti cheat issue with latest kernel
Absolutely unplayable for me. I tried every version of Proton always with the same result. Maybe the NVIDIA drivers are the problem.

Choppy Audio, not sure how to describe it but the audio was definitely off.
Works now, with battleye runtime installed and updated. The audio is choppy for me, but overall gameplay is as expected.

plz use newset wine (exclude wine-lol) in lutris
Replace your lutuis's battleye-runtime (e.g./home/user/.local/share/lutris/runtime/battleye_runtime/
) with steam's proton-battleye-runtime (e.g./home/user/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Proton BattlEye Runtime/
). I suggest to use a soft link.
After replaced battleye-runtime then you can play online. the offline "zen mode" is not affected.
With lutris's battleye-runtime the game will crash but not with the steam one, just replace it. For steam version, install "proron battleye runtime" then it's fine.

Had to install proton battle eye in steam
Ubisoft launcher is blank without proton experimental or GE

Game runs fine, 30FPS locked and is relatively stable as long as there isn't too many players on screen.
Proton BattlEye Runtime must be installed via Steam otherwise it will crash.

it had some choppiness but i played the game under half an hour so it honestly might have been the shaders compiling although i thaught i downloaded them from steam

You can get into the game with uplay version, but 1 imin after launch, it crashes everytime.
This version of wine (lutris-ge-proton8-7) support auto prime render offload (if I'm right?)
When the game start up and enter game world for about 1 minute, it crashes. Everytime.
The 1-min-crash make it impossible to play multiplayer. Noted before.
When RR is not in steam, I tried lutris with uplay before, the game even don't start. I'm sure the battleye files is not updated during this period, so the battleye-linux-support is probably done from server side. I'm still not sure why it crash every 1 minute, waiting for fixes.

Not worked on steam deck

Great game if you can run it, probably only possible in windows itself via dual-boot or KVM due to battleye.
Radomly could open into a small windows in the corner when alt+tab or first launch
After about a minute ingame the game will crash
Due to the 100% online features battleye will kick you from the game as a whole afte rabout a minute of loading in.
If you can get battleye to not boot you it will be fine.
Once installed, clicking play has no effect.
I was able to observe UbisoftGameLauncher process in the background that eventually exits, then steam goes from saying STOP to PLAY, that's it. Nothing I did (changing proton versions) seemed to get the launcher to show.
