Have not tried using offical Proton, but GE Proton isnt hard to install and use either. So i would recommend to just try the newest Steam Proton, if that doesnt work use Proton-Up-QT to download GE Proton and use that instead.

I've tried all the different Proton versions available on steam, including experimental and Proton-GE7-20. Tried changing a multitude of settings in the configuration screen of the game, (resolution, windowed mode, vsync, etc..) but the results remain the same. This game is not playable.

originally played this on a dumb phone as a java game, then it was remade for android/ios and as a bonus released on steam. It seems not much care was put into proper gamepad controls on pc. for me it seems to reflect original feel from old phones version quite well. perfect experience on linux
